Description

Mottino Wash is basically a 1.5 mile rock garden with tight turns which require pivoting on large rocks.  Rock sliders are highly recommended to avoid body damage.  The rocks are also very sharp so tire damage is a possibility.  There is about 3.7 miles of dirt road and 7 miles of wash to get to Mottino Wash.

We will rendevous at the 7-Eleven on Bear Valley Rd. at Navajo Rd. where gas is available.  You can also fill up anywhere along Bear Valley Rd.  We will leave the 7-Eleven at 0800.  The trail head is about 33 miles from there.

Tow vehicles can be left at the trail head.
