Description

An easy run to view the wild flowers and maybe a mine or two in Oriflamme and Rodriquez Canyons. This is mostly a dirt road with a little bit of shelf road for some good views.  There is one extra credit section, for those that want to show off, that is easily bypassed.

We will leave the Carl's on Cristianitos in San Clemente at 0700, gas up in Romona and be at the trailhead (33 04 03.66N 116 32 50.45W) about 0900.

We will be stopping for lunch in an open area with no shade so you might want to bring some with you chair, lunch and beverage of your choice.

Check out the Rodriquez Loop album (Saturday, January 13, 2007) in the PHOTOS section of the website for some pictures.
