Ran up Rattlesnake Canyon yesterday (7/14) with some rocket shooting buddies who light them off at Lucerne Day Lake. Huge cumulus but they seemed to be more western - over lakes. FJ with 2 inch lift and stock KJ unlimited. Run made with no use of straps or damage. Light sprinkles off and on and thunder in the area. Recent wash action visable so aroma of cow poop is way down. Nice changes in trail from minor flood activities. Lots of new puddles in 2N01/02/04 as we worked or way over to the 38. Very light traffic on trail. NO motorcycles seen! only two quads passed us at start in Mitchell Ranch. Took about two - 1/2 leasurly hours to reach Burns Road then 1-1/2 more hours over to 38.
