This is not an official club event. However, each year several of us attend to support one of your club members, Mark Danzo, who races car number 524.
King of the Hammers is considered the toughest one-day off road race in the world. It is the largest off-road race event in North America in terms of both competitors and spectators. It combines desert racing and rock crawling, and has expanded from one race to a series of 5 races held throughout the week and takes place each February in Johnson Valley, CA.
GPS numbers for where we'll be camped on Means Dry Lake will be posted the week before the event. The race starts Friday at 8 AM and lasts until 10 PM, More details will be forthcoming at http://ultra4racing.com/event/koh-week-2017/
