Description
The plan is to do Cleghorn in the morning then either 2N17X(D) and Pilot Rock Road(M) or Sugar Pine Mountain(E) 2N49 in the afternoon.
Cleghorn is an easy trail and a difficult trail that keeps crossing with pretty good views of what is ahead. Most of the obstacles are steep climbs. There are usually bypasses for the rough stuff. 2N17X has some steep and rocky ascents and descents. There is about 3.5 miles of pavement between the two trails. Sugar Pine Mountain is an easy scenic drive with views of Silverwood lake
We will leave the Norco Chevron station (6th St. exit off the 15N) at 0700. Gassing up there should provide enough for the whole trip. There is a McDonalds next door and a Jack in the Box across the street, if anyone is interested.
We should be at the trail head by 0800.
