California Ghost Town Trails (1985)
See photos for full map of trip. This is an two day dry camping trip. Lunch the first day at Briggs Cabin?
After Ballarat ghost town (park tow vehicles and buy something from store), we will proceed up South Park. There are old cabins and a shelf road bridge to cross. Camp near Rogers Pass. Oh, and you'll need to bring your own water as well.
Return via Pleasant Canyon
We'll do a memorable side trip at the World Beater Mine (pucker factor shelf road.) with an amazing view of Panamint Valley.
For anyone who would like to spend an extra night I will be coming home Monday. Will check out a few places I haven't been.
